Meet entries and volunteers needed!

Two meet entries are due by Tuesday at 9PM.

• First, the Divisional Championship meet for ALL cubs and cadets on Saturday Jan 24 from 1:00 to 5:30.  Divisional Meet entries
• Second, the All-Star meet for QUALIFIED cubs and cadets.  Please note, this is a fee-based meet.  All swimmers will need to pay $35 (via check to WHCS) whether they swim in one, two, or three individual events.  There are no relays, and swimmers only swim against swimmers in their grade. Volunteers are still needed for all three meets. If you sign up, you will get free entry.  Otherwise, there is an entry fee of a few dollars per person. Many positions have been filling up, so the sooner you sign up, the more likely you will get your desired position.

Practices for the rest of the season

Here is the practice schedule for the rest of the season.

Jan 9 - Dryland Practice 3:15-4:30
Jan 11 - Last BSC practice 6:00-7:00
Jan 12 to 15 - Normal practices at VC (last week for polliwogs)
Jan 16 - Dryland Practice 3:15-4:30 (last dryland for polliwogs)
Jan 19 - NO PRACTICE
Jan 20 to 22 - Normal practices at VC
Jan 23 - Dryland Practice 3:15-4:30
Jan 26 to 29 - Normal practices for All-Star meet qualifiers ONLY
Jan 30 - Dryland Practice 3:15-4:30 (last dryland)

Polliwog Championship Meet

Attached you will find the Polliwog Championship Meet entry form.  This form is ONLY for polliwogs.  If you have cub or cadet swimmers, you do not need to respond for them.  All Polliwogs are able and invited to swim in this championship meet that will have all the Polliwogs from all of the CYO teams at the same pool at the same time.

To assist with that number of swimmers, WHCS is responsible to have 3 volunteers.  If we don't provide at least 3 volunteers, coaches will be pulled to assist.  The greatest need is for timers, bullpen, and runners.  Please email me if you would like to volunteer and the position you desire.  The sooner the better, because once that position fills, you will be placed in another position at the meet directors discretion.
